Over the years we have experienced anti-social behaviour from trespassers during times when the school is closed. This has led to various problems including vandalism, graffiti, broken play equipment and smashed glass, which staff have had to clear up to make the site safe for our children. Over the past few weeks the trespassing has increased, and we have involved the police who have been very supportive in helping us to deal with the issue. We hope it has now stopped. However, the Governing Board are currently looking into the installation of CCTV cameras to help us respond even more effectively.
It is distressing that the school and the staff have had to deal with this unpleasantness and it is to be hoped that there are no further problems.
