This popular village event will be returning once again this year at the earlier time of 5.30 pm on Wednesday 1 December when it will be opened by Father Christmas himself!
We are delighted that we are able to host this in the Church again after last year’s forced cancellation, and we hope it will be as much fun as ever. We will of course be taking all precautions we can – there will be fewer, more widely spaced stalls, hand sanitiser will be available, and we will encourage people to wear masks where possible. However all the old-favourites – cake stall, mulled wine and mince pies and tombola – will be there, while Jonny will be entertaining us once again at the piano!
We do hope that the whole community will take the opportunity to come and start the Christmas Season with us.
If anyone would like to get involved as a helper, please call David Hatfield on 01823 401082 or 07703656910. Any contributions in the form of cakes or tombola prizes would be gratefully received. St. Michael’s Church is delighted to announce the relaunch of the popular Candlelit Bazaar following our necessary closure last year in the Covid lock down.
