Milverton AmDram Society January update

On 4 December Milverton Amateur Dramatic Society put on a show called “Deck the Halls with Folly at St Michael’s Church. It was a collection of Christmas nostalgia, amusing sketches and silly songs. The show was done as a community project to raise funds for St Michael’s and to thank Helene and her team for all their hard work to keep Milverton going throughout these trying times since the arrival of Covid. The Church was all decked out with Christmas lights and a beautiful tree and looked very pretty. After the show we had mince pies and mulled wine or coffee and tea with biscuits as an alternative. More importantly, we got to socialise a bit and see people we had not seen in ages. Personally, I think it is vitally important to keep the community spirit going that we have come to love so much about Milverton. This is a village where you do know your neighbours and people matter still.

Having got one evening behind us finally after all the stopping for Covid – we are already planning the next one. Diarise Friday 8 April 2022 if you are up for an interactive evening of who done it. We are planning a meal with a chance for you to guess who killed Bella Donna in “Murder at the Allotment” – the plot thickens. If you are interested in taking part or getting involved in anyway – please email: or me on

Milverton Amateur Dramatic Society would like to wish everyone a Prosperous and Happy 2022
