The London Handel Players will be presenting a feast of Baroque music in Milverton Church on Friday 28 April at 7.30pm.
Since making their debut at St. George’s Hanover Square, as part of the London Handel Festival in 2000, the London Handel Players have thrilled audiences across the world with their performances and recordings. They appear regularly at the Wigmore Hall and at many of the leading festivals in the UK, Europe and North America.
The programme in Milverton, entitled ‘Pearls of the Baroque’, showcases so many of the great composers of the Baroque era, including works by Bach, Scarlatti, Vivaldi, Handel and Telemann.
The combination of baroque flute, violin, cello and harpsichord create such a magical sound, perfect for a concert in the beautiful candlelit church in Milverton.
